Mr. McFerran is President of Lawyers Title Agency of South Puget Sound which provides a full range of title and escrow services in Pierce, Thurston, and South King Counties of the State of Washington. With the creation of The Complex Escrow Group a very specialized escrow service is being provided for the Real Estate community.

Mr. McFerran is President and Managing Shareholder of Tax Deferred Exchange Services, Inc., a national Qualified Intermediary company headquartered in the State of Washington. In that capacity, Mr. McFerran’s professional practice is focused on tax planning for clients throughout the United States in the tax deferred exchange arena, advising taxpayers, exchangers, accountants, trustees, Qualified Intermediaries and escrow agents. In addition, Mr. McFerran has himself served as Qualified Intermediary in literally thousands of transactions throughout the United States.

Mr. McFerran is the Chancellor of McFerran University providing quality education for all of the Real Estate community. Mr. McFerran is a licensed Real Estate Instructor in the State of Washington and teaches classes on a regular basis.

Mr. McFerran is a frequent speaker on tax and law matters sponsored by bar association, accounting groups and various other private industry groups. Mr. McFerran is a graduate of Seattle University Alber’s School of Business. He received his law degree with honors from the University of Puget Sound School of Law.
